This coming Sunday, the Church celebrates the great feast of The Most Holy Trinity. The Gospel gives us an insight into God’s true nature, which is one of love. We read that God loves us so much that he gave his only Son for us, so that we can share in the life and loving relationship of the Holy Trinity – forever. The word Trinity means ‘Tri-unity’, three in one. The Church teaches us that, although there is only one God, there are three divine persons in God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, bound together in love.
Update on the wider opening of the school
Thank you to the parents of Year 6 who have sent emails in support and appreciation of the planning and organisation to ensure the smooth transition and return of our Year 6 children earlier this week. It was wonderful for both the children and staff to begin to reconnect with one another after such a long peirod away from daily school life. It was also lovely to welcome back other Key Worker children to school as well. Over the course of next week, contact will be made to all families of children who are still not in school. Further details to follow next week regarding the wider opening of the school.
Calling all singers Be a Rock 'n' Roll Star
Come and join in the fun of the Dudley Performing Arts Virtual Summer Festival by taking part in our vocal montage video. All you need to do is come along to an online rehearsal where our vocal staff will teach you how to sing Rocking All Over the World. You will be accompanied by a full orchestra and backing singers. There will be opportunities to sing solo or if you prefer just be part of the chorus with everyone else. After a few rehearsals we'd like you to film yourself singing your part, and this will be your chance to rock it out and shine. Once all the videos are sent in, the film crew will work their magic and produce a montage film of the song which will be released at our Virtual Festival on the DPA Youtube channel on July 5th.
If you fancy the rock'n roll challenge all you have to do is contact dpa.cs@dudley.gov.uk telling us that you would like to come to the online rehearsal on Wednesday 10th June at 18:00.
