We are delighted to be able to join the staff and students from Hagley as they lead us in a Remembrance Day Service on Wednesday 11th November from 10.50am . The stream can be accessed on the day using this link: https://youtu.be/ypUeKEFBiZ8

Remembrance - Wednesday 11th November 2020

1) There is a PowerPoint to have a look at about Service and Sacrifice. It is about service and sacrifice during the wars but also right now during the Coronavirus pandemic. Have a look!

Do you know of any other symbols like the poppy that represent something important?
TASK:
Perhaps you could create your own symbol that represents how you feel about an important issue or loved one?

2) The next document will teach you all about the different poppy colours and what they represent, You could create your own remembrance wreath for Remembrance Day.

3) Finally, I have added some Snapshot Mats.

You don't have to complete all these activies or you can do them over the next few days if you like!

You can have a little look at this video too. The teachers made it as a Key Stage and Miss Robertson is doing the voice over! https://youtu.be/5uBlbD3Lws4 It has some of the activities I've asked you to do in it already but you might find something else interesting. :)

French - Tuesday 10th November

I am coming off our normal scheme as we need to be together to see the slides and pronunciation. As a bit of fun, I would like you to try and learn the colours in French! Use this website to listen to the pronunciations. Can you draw and label a rainbow picture with the correct colours? Or can you do your own picture!
