Thank you for supporting this year's CAFOD Family Fast Day. I am sure that your child enjoyed the opportunity to wear their own bright clothes today to promote the theme 'Brighten Up.' Thank you also to our Year 5 children, Mrs Lawson and other staff members for leading our whole school assembly this morning and for supporting this CAFOD event too. All the money used from the sale of produce will be donated to CAFOD to help brighten up the future of children and families in need. We have raised a fantastic total of £237.40 plus we have a great deal of items to dontate to the Food Bank too! Thank you for helping our brothers and sisters around the world.
The chidren across the Stourbridge Learning Partnership will be taking part in this year's Project Gambia Shoe Box Appeal. In November, Project Gambia will be shipping a ‘Christmas Shoebox’ to every child who attend the schools they work in: Half Dye, Madiana and The Methodist Special School. Please help us to do this. Your child should have received a flyer today with the details of the items to be included within the shoe box. The deadline for returning the boxes will be confirmed shortly. Thank you for your continued support.

Creator God. In love you give life. In your generosity you create the gifts of the earth. As daughters and sons of the same Father, may we learn to share the plentiful gifts of creation, especially with those most in need. Give us open hands and loving hearts, so that we take less and give more. We ask that all may benefit from your goodness, and share in the fullness of life you have promised. Amen.
Evangelisation: The Mission of Religious. That consecrated religious men and women may bestir themselves, and be present among the poor, the marginalized, and those who have no voice.
