Holy Week - a sacred week

On Sunday we enter a sacred week - Holy Week. Jesus' entire life was a journey to the cross. He was born to die, and by dying he destroyed our death and by rising restored our life. Holy Week invites us to survey the cross: to ponder, pray and reflect on the glory of Jesus' death which won for us every spiritual blessing. We boast in the cross, rejoice in it and thank God for sending Jesus to die for our sins. In baptism we were immersed into Jesus' death and resurrection, and by God's grace we no longer live for ourselves but for him who died and rose for us.

Virtues Focus - Intentional and Prophetic

Pupils at St. Joseph's School are growing to be intentional in the way they live and use the resources of the earth, guided by conscience; and prophetic in the example they set to others. Intentional means planning our actions and choosing to live how God wants us to. Prophetic means spreading the word of God through how we live our lives.

Prayer of the Week (Wednesday Word)

Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
