School Reopening Information

I do hope that all our children and familes are safe and well.  I would like to thank all members of staff for their hardwork and dedication this week in organising the remote learning for our children.  It has been wonderful to see the children's engagement and work throughout the week.  There will be remote learning available on your child's class page for Monday next week too.  The class email messaging will cease from Tuesday 17th and instead the school should be contacted via the info email account for general queries. The Board of Directors have also agreed that all visitors, parents and staff must wear a face covering on site and around communal areas in school. Please can you ensure that you wear a face covering at drop-off and collection times from Tuesday morning onwards.  Thank you for your cooperation and support.  We do understand the inconvenience this has caused for our parents and their families but within such a pandemic, the safety and wellbeing of all children and staff has been of paramount importance.

Using our God-given Talents

This Sunday's Gospel reminds us to use our talents well. When Jesus told this parable, the 'talent' he was speaking about was a sum of money - a weight of silver or gold. In our time, the word 'talent' describes the special qualities or abilities which people have. The marvellous thing about human beings is that everyone has a special talent, something unique, which only that person can contribute to the world. If we think of the talents which people around us have, instead of thinking of their faults, it helps to make the world a more joyful and encouraging place. Using our talents just for our own enjoyment can be like hiding our talents in the ground. How much better to use them to bring happiness to others!
